Information Architecture

Our Information Architecture service helps structure the information on your web site in a clear and intuitive way for your users.

Your web site's structure is a key part of your site's success, because users must be able to find the information they need quickly and easily. A poor structure can frustrate users trying to do something on the site, with inevitable consequences on user happiness and therefore business success.

The Information Architecture service has two parts:

• Sessions are conducted with real users - we ask the users to group together the pieces of information from your web site in a way that makes sense to them. They are then asked to name the groups and explain the reasoning for their groupings.
• Our usability team evaluate the user sessions, combine the results with the team's experience and best practise knowledge.

A set of detailed diagrams will show the improved structure for your site, and a report will provide both an analysis of the users' results and guidelines for adding new information to the structure in the future.
