User Testing

For user testing, we test your web site with real people, asking them to answer some questions and attempt some things on the site. We review the digital video recordings of the testing and provide recommendations for improving the web site.

User testing has two unique features:

• The testing sessions can be observed live by executives and developers alike. User testing is an extremely powerful technique for convincing key people about the aspects of your web site that could be improved.
• What users say they do is often very different from what they actually do. Because of this, user testing offers great insight into web site usability issues, complementing findings from questionnaires and surveys.

The testing can be hosted by Nomensa in Bristol, or in one of over ninety locations throughout the UK.

A detailed report will describe results, explain issues, and provide tangible recommendations for addressing these issues and improving your web site.

The report will be accompanied by a set of CDs or DVDs containing:

• the video files of the complete test sessions, and
• a selection of video clips from the sessions, backing up the report's recommendations.
